Sales Account Manager (3 Years Experiend REQUIRED)

Job Summary:

The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers to understand their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process from the initiation of a sale all the way through the accurate delivery of product.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

  • Sells the company's products and assists with the coordination of sales efforts for other territories and sales representatives.

  • Achieve / exceed quarterly targets including lead qualification, lead referral and follow up, pipeline forecasts, and sales goals.

  • Develops and follows up on sales quotations to customers and ensures satisfaction with product and internal processes.

  • Assists to develop a sales and marketing strategy that includes identifying opportunities with existing and new customers.

  • Conducts targeted sales calls and tracks results.

  • Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.

  • Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.

  • Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.

  • Collects and compiles customer feedback in an easily reviewed and understood format for review by company management and leadership.

  • Collects and maintains sales records required to track, review, and modify performance of marketing initiatives.

  • Develops and distributes materials related to sales, training, and marketing to support the selling effort.

  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with existing and potential clients.

  • Advises the General Manager on all sales and marketing matters.

  • Provides customers with product samples and catalogs.

  • Develops sales presentations or proposals to explain service specifications.

  • Monitors and analyzes market conditions, innovations, and competitors' services, prices, and sales.

  • Attend trade shows and other functions, as required.

  • Continuously improves through feedback.
    Observes all safety requirements and complies with all organizational, local, and federal safety and health regulations.

  • Performs all other duties as required.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Thorough understanding of products to be sold.

  • Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients.

  • Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills, with superb communication ability.

  • Flexible to business travel.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

  • Knowledge of ISO procedures and Quality Policy.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent sales, negotiation and customer service skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

  •  

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field required.

  •  

    Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

  • Ability to travel daily and spend most of the day in a vehicle.

  • Valid driver's license.

  • Personal Protective Equipment might be required where needed: gloves, masks, safety glasses, safety shoes, ear protection, seat belts.

    Travel Required:

    Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.

  • 5+ years of sales and marketing experience.

  • Successful track record of developing sales channels and strong project and client management.
