Bio-One of Worcester is seeking part time, per-diem Biohazard Technicians. We are a 24/7
death, crime scene, suicide cleanup, hoarding, and other biohazard cleanup company servicing the
greater Worcester County area. Our mission is simple: help first, business second. Our clients are
dealing with traumatic events in their lives; we are here to help them through it.

As a Biohazard Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Reliable transportation to and from job locations
• Tracking supplies and equipment used on job sites
• Decontaminating/Remediating scenes in accordance with EPA, OSHA and MA Biohazard regulations
• Working on scenes with visible and uncertain hazards
• Dispatched to scenes where there could be homicides, suicides, decompositions, hoarding, infectious diseases, drug labs, and other related hazards
• Maintaining client confidentiality by abstaining from making/receiving phone calls and taking photos while on a scene
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment per EPA, OSHA and MA Biohazard regulations
• Communicating with your direct supervisor about job sites, clients, and any issues that may arise
• Flexible schedules
• Getting on the road for emergency calls within 30 minutes of receiving call
• Other various job duties assigned by your direct supervisor

Requirements:

• Able to lift at least to 50 lbs
• Excellent attention to detail
• A desire to help people
• Strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to multitask
• Valid driver's license
• Clean CORI report

Normal working hours are 24/7/365. Most jobs are scheduled Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. However,
emergencies do happen, and sometimes jobs go late. If this is the case, you will be notified as soon
as possible. Must be willing to travel and do overnights if needed (@ Bio-One Worcester would
cover accommodations/meals).

Starting hourly rate is based on experience. As you continue to grow with our team, we will provide
continued training and certification/certificates in areas determined from Bio-One Worcester.
