On October 1st, we welcome all to join the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce for our Business & Government Forum, presented by Wellpoint and WuXi Biologics, and supported by Ventry Associates and Takeda.
The Chamber is excited to welcome the President & CEO of MassBio, Kendalle Burlin O'Connell, to Worcester for a discussion on the life science sector in Central Massachusetts and the Commonwealth as a whole.
Burlin O’Connell leads the strategic direction for MassBio and drives policy advocacy for the industry to ensure that Massachusetts life sciences companies have the best environment possible to research, develop, manufacture, and commercialize breakthrough therapies and cures for people around the world.
The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, (MassBio) is a non-profit organization that represents and supports the life science industry in Massachusetts. Established in 1985, MassBio is dedicated to advancing the Commonwealth’s leadership in the life sciences, to grow the industry, add value to the healthcare system, and improve patient lives.
MassBio plays a crucial role in maintaining Massachusetts as a global leader in biotechnology and life sciences. By fostering collaboration, advocacy for supportive policies, and promoting innovation, MassBio helps drive economic growth and advancements in healthcare that benefit both our local and global communities.
